What this site is

BrokersNest publishes research, scores and comparisons of retail trading brokers. The content is for information only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a personal recommendation to open an account with, or trade through, any broker we list. Trading CFDs and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk: see the Risk warning section below.

Acceptable use

You may browse and use this site for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not scrape, systematically extract, or republish the scoring data, broker profiles or ranking tables without written permission. You may not attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.

No warranty

We check every listed broker's licence numbers against public regulator registers and source every figure we publish, but broker terms, fees and licences can change without notice. Content is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Always confirm current terms with the broker before you open an account.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marketing Nest (MN) Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, reliance on its content, or dealings with any broker listed on it, including trading losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

The BrokersNest name, logo, scoring methodology and site design are the property of Marketing Nest (MN) Ltd. Broker names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

How we may be compensated

Some links to brokers on this site are affiliate links. If you open an account through one, BrokersNest may receive a commission from that broker, at no extra cost to you. These links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" and work the same way whatever a broker's score or ranking. Separately, brokers can buy clearly labelled display advertising, described on the Advertise page. Neither commission nor advertising affects editorial content, rankings or scores.

These terms apply to advertisers booking a placement (Starter, Ranking or Index — see the Advertise page for current pricing).

• Every booking is billed in full upfront for the selected term. There is no split or instalment billing on a first booking or any other.
• Term discounts: 1 month at the standard rate, 3 months 5% off, 6 months 10% off, 12 months 10% off with the rate locked for the full term.
• A Starter booking can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Ranking and Index bookings are fixed for the booked term.
• Rates are quoted in USD, excluding tax; AUD and GBP rates are available on request.

Bookings are made by enquiry through the Book your placement page or ads@brokersnest.com. We confirm availability, check the advertiser's licence, and invoice manually before a placement goes live.

What we collect and why

• Newsletter. Your email address and a record of when and how you subscribed, used only to send the newsletter. You confirm your subscription by email before you're added, and every email has an unsubscribe link. The list is held by our email provider, Brevo, on our behalf. It isn't stored on this website. Legal basis: your consent. We keep your address until you unsubscribe. After that it stays on a suppression list only, so we never email you again by mistake.
• Enquiries, corrections and advertising requests. Your name, email address and the content of your message, used to reply and deal with your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding, or steps towards a contract for advertising enquiries. Kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless it forms part of a contract, in which case for as long as Cypriot tax and company law requires.
• Broker submissions. If you submit a brokerage through our Add your brokerage form, we store the firm's details and your business contact details (name, role, work email), and use them to check the submission and reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in assessing brokers for our index. If a submission is rejected, it's deleted 12 months after rejection. If it's accepted, your contact details are deleted 24 months after submission, and the firm's details are kept.
• Your region, and which risk warning you see. Different regulators require different risk warnings, and brokers are licensed in different places. To show you the right ones, we estimate your country from your IP address when a page loads. The estimate is approximate, to country level only, and the lookup happens on our own server: your IP address isn't stored for this and isn't sent to anyone. You can choose a different region with the region selector; that changes the lists and the risk warning you see. Links to open an account with a broker always follow the country we estimate, because a broker may only accept clients where it is licensed, and in some countries we show no account links at all. Google Analytics also records the estimated region and the region you're viewing: in full only if you accept analytics cookies, and before that only as part of the limited, cookieless signals described in the Cookie policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing you the risk warnings and broker information that apply where you are; for the analytics part, your consent.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type and pages requested in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure site. Kept for no longer than 60 days under the host's log rotation, and not used to identify you.
• Clicks to brokers. When you follow a link to a broker, we record which broker and when. Nothing else: no IP address, cookie or device details. We use these counts to understand which brokers readers choose, and delete them after 13 months. Google Analytics also records the click: in full only if you accept analytics cookies, and before that only as part of the limited, cookieless signals described in the Cookie policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site; for the analytics part, your consent.
• Adverts we serve ourselves. Some adverts on this site come from our own ad server, not from an advertising network. When a page shows one, the ad server uses your IP address to estimate your country, so that you only see adverts from brokers that may advertise where you are. The IP address is not stored. The ad server counts how many times each advert was shown and clicked, hour by hour. These counts are anonymous statistics: no IP address, cookie, browser details or page address is kept with them, and they cannot be linked to you. The ad server sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and works the same whatever you choose in the cookie banner. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing adverts that are lawful where you are, and in counting them for the advertisers who book them.
• Analytics and advertising data. With your consent, cookies and similar technologies collect information about how you use the site and which advertisements and links you interact with. Details in the Cookie policy below. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie preferences link in the footer.

We do not ask for special category data (such as health or political views) or information about criminal convictions.

Links to brokers

BrokersNest earns commission from some brokers when you click through and open an account. To attribute the referral, the link to the broker carries a unique click or referral identifier. That identifier tells the broker, or the affiliate network it uses, that you came from BrokersNest; the broker or network may link it to cookies or device information it collects on its own site. We do not pass your name or email address to any broker. Once you are on a broker's site, its own privacy policy applies.

Who we share data with

We don't sell personal data.

Providers that process data for us, under contract and on our instructions: our hosting provider (Bluehost); our email provider (Brevo), for the newsletter and site emails; CookieScript, which records your cookie choices; Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies; and professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.

Companies that use data for their own purposes: if you accept advertising and marketing cookies, the advertising providers listed in the Cookie policy (Google, Microsoft, Meta, X and LinkedIn) receive data directly from your browser and use it under their own privacy policies. Where a provider's tools on this site (such as a social media pixel) collect your data and send it to that provider, we act as joint controllers with that provider for the collection and transmission, under the joint controller terms the provider offers for its tools. The provider alone is responsible for what it does with the data afterwards. You can ask us for the essence of these arrangements, and you can exercise your rights with us or with the provider. Brokers and affiliate networks receive the referral identifier described above.

We also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the EEA and the UK, notably in the United States. Where data is transferred there, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision (for certified US companies, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension) or on standard contractual clauses (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for UK data). You can ask us for details of the safeguard used for a given provider at privacy@brokersnest.com.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests), portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it. Email privacy@brokersnest.com; we reply within one month (extendable by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you why). You may also complain to a data protection authority. Our lead authority is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy); UK readers may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Broker rankings are the same for every visitor in a given region.

Children

The site concerns trading leveraged financial products and is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site and restrict access to personal data to those who need it. No internet transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site and, where we hold your email address for the newsletter, may tell you by email.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and your browser's local storage, work in comparable ways and are covered here too.

Your choices

On your first visit, a banner asks which categories you allow. Before you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are set, and no advertising or third-party content loads. Google's measurement tags may send the limited, cookieless signals described under Providers. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie preferences link in the footer, or block and delete cookies in your browser, although parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Categories

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, to remember your cookie choice, and to remember settings you make yourself (such as your region). These cannot be switched off. Legal basis: necessary to provide the service you requested.
• Functional — content from other sites that you can choose to load, such as live charts. Legal basis: your consent, or your request when you click to load it.
• Analytics — tell us how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent.
• Advertising and marketing — show advertising, measure how our own advertising performs elsewhere, and attribute referrals when you click through to a broker. Legal basis: your consent.

Content from other sites. Our Markets page offers live charts from TradingView. They load only when you click to show them, or if you've accepted functional cookies. Once loaded, TradingView may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.

When you leave for a broker. If you follow a link to a broker, the link carries a referral identifier, and that broker's site, and any affiliate network it uses, may set its own cookies to record the referral. Those cookies are set on their sites, under their policies, not ours.

What the site stores in your browser

Apart from the cookie that records your cookie choice, BrokersNest sets no cookies of its own. It keeps the following in your browser's own storage, only when you make the choice yourself. None of it is sent to us.

Providers

None of the analytics or advertising services above set cookies until you accept the matching category. Before you choose, Google Analytics and Google Ads may receive limited, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed), without cookies or identifiers, which Google uses for aggregate measurement. The other advertising services send nothing until you accept. Google Tag Manager loads them only in line with your choices. Information on how Google uses data from sites using its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Broker availability and applicable protections depend on where you are and which regulated entity accepts you — see Brokers by country for the real, current breakdown by region. BrokersNest checks each listed licence number against the broker's own regulation page or the relevant regulator's own public register, but does not verify a visitor's eligibility to trade with any given entity — that is between you and the broker.

These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without affecting any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
