An in-house platform good enough to leave MetaTrader for, with British regulation behind it.
We don't link to ActivTrades from your region, because it doesn't serve retail clients here through a locally regulated company. You can still read our full review. ActivTrades serves UK and EU clients through regulated entities. It is not regulated by ASIC.
We don't link to brokers from the US or Canada, because retail CFD trading isn't offered to residents there. You can still read our full review.

A proprietary platform worth using, commission-free pricing and two decades of FCA-regulated history.
ActivTrader is a rare in-house terminal worth leaving MetaTrader for: clean order tickets, progressive trailing stops and risk tools MetaTrader never shipped. Pricing is commission-free, and at about $7.00 a lot it is the cheapest all-in cost we track in the EU, level with Vantage in the UK. You get the tooling and the FCA cover without paying extra per lot.
How the score adds up
This entity doesn't publish the figure, so we used the median of the brokers that do.

Authorised since 2001 with FSCS cover on the UK entity.
If digital assets are part of the plan, look elsewhere.
Commission-free Standard only, no raw account. The spread moves with the market: 0.5 pips target, 0.7 when we checked.
